This policy governs the automatic deletion of data within the platform. It defines the retention periods for different data categories and outlines how users should adjust their workflows to ensure compliance while retaining necessary information.
Enforced Data
Data linked to enforcement decisions (On Hold, Enforced, No Action with previous enforcement, Under Investigation).
Retention: 7 years from the most recent enforcement action.
Moderated Data
Data that has been labeled but not subject to enforcement.
Retention: 3 years from the last moderation.
Manually Actioned Data
Data manually tagged for purposes such as analysis, monitoring, or non-enforcement workflows.
Retention: 3 years from the last manual action.
Unmoderated Data
Data that has not been labeled or tagged.
Retention: 100 days from the last time it was detected by automated monitoring systems.

Standard (non-custom) policies: Historic data will follow the new retention periods defined above.
Custom policies: Existing retention periods will remain in place, with data mapped to the corresponding categories in Zeal 2.0.
Data migration: 1 year of data will be migrated into the Zeal 2.0 application. Older data will be retained in storage but will not be accessible within the platform.
