Estimated Geography provides a computed and probabilistic estimate of location for a listing, post, account, or website.
Accounts → Estimated using contact information (if available). If not, the estimate is taken from the associated website.
Posts → Estimated using the Account’s geography (if available), otherwise the Website’s geography (which considers the geographic TLD, such as .co.uk, .de, .fr and so on).
Websites → Estimated using domain TLD and/or available contact information.
Priority logic:
Posts → Based on Account estimated geo; if missing, falls back to Website.
Ship from → Based on Account estimated geo; if missing, falls back to Website.
Account estimated geo → Based on contact information and/or Website estimated geo.
Website estimated geo → Based on domain TLD and/or contact information.
Users have the option to Include or Exclude based on region (such as Eastern Europe) or choose a specific country:
