DisclaimerThe rules outlined in this document are generic examples intended to demonstrate how automoderation logic can be structured within Zeal 2.0.
Each client’s enforcement framework should be customized and strategically aligned with their specific brand guidelines, risk tolerance, product categories, and regional compliance requirements.
Automoderation parameters, thresholds, and keyword lists must always be tailored, reviewed, and validated in collaboration with the client’s brand protection program.
Important Configuration NoteBefore adding any detection rules (e.g., Counterfeit, Copycat, Policy Violation), always create and activate whitelisting rules first.
These rules should label verified sources as Legitimate, Official Store, or Authorized Seller to prevent false positives and ensure accurate moderation results.
Best practice:
Place all whitelisting rules at the top of your rule order in Zeep’s automoderation settings.
Example priority:
Authorized Seller Accounts → Label as Official Store
Legitimate Listings → Label as Legitimate
Counterfeit / Copycat / Policy Violation Rules
Purpose: Detect accounts using a brand name in their display name but not verified/authorized.
Set conditions
Account Name → any in → [“Gucci”, “Gucci Official”, “Gucci Store”, “Gucci_Store”, “G u c c i”]
Account Label → none in → [“Authorized Seller”, “Official Store”, “Legitimate”]
Post Description and Title → any in → [“official store”, “authorized reseller”, “customer service”] (optional to increase precision)
Action: Label as Impersonation
Purpose: Catch accounts displaying brand logos in profile or listing images but lacking authorization.
Set conditions
Account Name → any in → [“Gucci”, “Gucci Official”, “Gucci Store”, “Gucci_Store”, “G u c c i”]
Image → Logo Detection → is true
Image Is Checked → is true
Account Label → none in → [“Authorized Seller”, “Official Store”, “Legitimate”]
Action: Label as Impersonation
Purpose: Detect accounts impersonating brand support (refunds, urgent account problems).
Set conditions
Account Name → any in → [“customer support”, “support@brand”, “refunds”, “account help”]
Post Description and Title → any in → [“customer support”, “support@brand”, “refunds”, “account help”, “refund”, “bank transfer”, “send payment”, “paypal”]
Image → Logo Detection → is true (optional)
Image Is Checked → is true (optional)
Action: Label as Impersonation/Phishing
Impersonation rules should be high priority — they often indicate fraud and can cause immediate consumer harm.
Suggested top order:
Impersonation – Brand Name in Account Name + No Verification
Impersonation – Logo Detected in Profile/Listing + No Authorized Label
Impersonation – Customer Support / Refund Scams
Always keep Authorized Seller / Official Store rules above impersonation rules to prevent false positives on legitimate verified accounts.
